Victor and Alycia know what it’s like to endure the daily challenges of a marital relationship. After becoming a blended family in 1998, they describe their first five years of marriage as chaotic. How did they make it through? By applying the following to their marriage: God’s Word, Counsel, and Forgiveness.

The Origin of Marriage: In the beginning…God created Marriage. In this 2-hour session we will discuss the roles of man and woman according to God’s plan for marriage.

Ministry of the Husband/Ministry of the Wife: In this session, we will discuss the dynamics of a biblical marital relationship. Men will be taught what it means to love their wives as Christ loves the church. Wives will be taught the biblical definition of being submissive to their own husband.  2 Hours

Is Marriage 50/50? In today’s give-and-take culture, husbands and wives have lost sight of giving 100%  no matter how much their spouse is giving. The cross is at the center of every godly marriage. During this session, gain the keys to a selfless life. 1 Hour

Communication 101 – He Said/She Said: In this 1-hour session, we will cover the following points:

- How to Hear, Not Just Listen

- Life and Death: The Power of the Spoken Word

- Communicating Love for One Another

Covenant, Not Contract: In this session, we will define the covenant relationship of marriage, till-death-do-us-part.  1 Hour

The “S” Word: Sex is not a three-letter word. In this session, we’ll look at God’s glorious plan for marital intimacy. Letting God into your bedroom is a key to this teaching. 1 Hour

Pitfalls and the Plundered: “It’s the little foxes that spoil the vines…” In this session we’ll define common issues that destroy marriages. Learning to pay attention to the minor details is an imperative part of keeping your marriage out of the pit. 1 Hour

Messages for Husbands/Messages for Wives: In this 1-hour session, we’ll separate the husbands from the wives to bring strong teaching on topics that impact spouses individually.

Blended Families: In this 2-hour session, we will talk with blended family spouses about the following:

- forget “his” and “hers” – they’re now “ours”

- discussing discipline
